Style
Eve Sextuplet's basic rock trio (guitar/bass/drums) healthy is augmented in their late studio recordings by having numbers of interesting studio techniques. E.g., "Bang" (from either Horrorscope) culminates in the segment constructed completely from either perennial, overdubbed shells. Eve Sise too manufactured liberal utilize of overdubbed vocals & more studio polish, like a vocoded filagree directly preceding a breakdown division of "On The Roof" (from either Horrorscope). A songs themselves usually conform to the late Xc's pop-punk esthetic, & may be about divided into quaternion different categories: a sugary-sweet bubblegum pop of "Rescue" & "Promise" (from either Horrorscope), the punk of "Hokis" (from either ''It's All in Your Head) and "Superhero Girl" (from Eve 6), ballads, such as "Hey Montana" (from It's All in Your Head'') and "Here's to the Night" (from Horrorscope), and anthems (characterized by beginning almost inaudibly, with sparse instrumentation, and ending climactically) such as "Arch Drive Goodbye" (from ''It's All in Your Head'').
Eve Vi was mayhap better known for its lyrics, yet, which feature intense mental imagery & imaginative punning: ii of the class action's hits, "Inside Out" (from either their self-titled album) & "Promise" (from either Horrorscope), are practiced examples of this style. Romance & angst come most common themes, however a band too explores issues of gender identity ("Jet Pack," or even "Sunset Strip Bitch," each from either Horrorscope), suicide ("Friend of Mine," from ''It's All in Your Head), and being placed in a special education class, ("Tongue Tied," from Eve 6).
